LUCY BRONZE X ALIGNE

Back for her much-awaited second collection, Lucy Bronze is shifting the narrative - championing women in sport and amplifying the voices that deserve to be heard. Fronted by familiar Rugby players Tatyana Heard and Zoe Harrison, chosen by Lucy herself, this collection captures their duality with fluid silhouettes that move with purpose, in a palette that balances energy with calm.

WHAT INSPIRED THIS NEW SPRING
SUMMER COLLECTION?

LUCY BRONZE

"I think, similar to the first collection, for me comfort is a huge point, feeling comfy, the fit of things, the material, how it feels. And then, yeah, it’s like the spring/summer collection. So there are a bit more vibrant colours, especially around the yellow tones and things like that. But yeah, just nice and simple pieces, with little added touches like the print on the shorts and the jacket that goes with it, the zips and silver hardware. Just simple classics with a little bit of elevation to them."

TATYANA HEARD
England & Saracens rugby player

“The SS26 collection creates a new standard of how fashion can champion freedom, comfort, and expression all at once. I feel so proud to represent a campaign that empowers women by evolving perceptions of femininity in fashion, sport, and beyond.”

Zoe Harrison
England & Saracens rugby player

“It’s amazing to represent a campaign that celebrates how clothing can influence not just performance, but presence. The designs carry a graceful calm, yet there’s an undeniable energy in them, a powerful balance that you feel wherever you are.”

HOW ARE YOU WRITING A BETTER STORY FOR WOMEN:

I guess just challenging perceptions is always something that I felt quite strongly about. Having been told from a young age or you can't do this or you can't do that because you're a girl. I think my mindset has always been to just prove people wrong in that respect, and I think that just sets a good example to so many little girls who have also maybe been told the same thing.

HOW DOES FASHION PLAY A ROLE IN YOUR LIFE?

I feel like clothes, like sport, you can express yourself, you can show who you are, you can be empowered by what you wear in the same way as you can be in how you play. And I feel like that's something that I've learnt particularly over the last few years of finding a way to express myself with fashion, being open with it, finding my place, making sure that there's a place in fashion for everyone.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

I’m inspired by so many stories of women standing up for themselves, speaking up for themselves, rewriting history, changing history.
I think to me those things and those stories are so inspiring.

What’s your favourite piece from the collection, and why?

“The jacket was the first thing that I actually got to try. And yeah, I absolutely love it.
I love the colour, the feel like the, the weight of everything. And then yeah, I remember seeing the shorts like kind of drawn and like pictures and stuff and thinking, oh, it's like denim shorts.”
