OUR INITIATIVES
As a start-up, we’re always keen to take on new challenges that are bigger than us. And as part of trying to do things better, we want to give back as much as we can. We’re hungry to make change, give back and do whatever we can to support our community.
Our team is empowered to take ALIGNE to new heights, push boundaries, embrace innovation, ambiguity and change. Collaboration, communication and trust sits at our core to ensure we’re always moving forward. From championing female-empowerment to conscious fashion initiatives, we work closely with charities by establishing new partnerships to operate consciously and inclusively – which ultimately, keeps us in check.
Smart Works is a dynamic, high profile and fast-growing UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for success at their job interview. They empower each woman by giving her the clothes and the confidence she needs to succeed. As a start-up focused on crafting clothes that make women feel confident, ALIGNE is proud to support and partner with Smart Works.
In celebration of Smart Works' 10th anniversary year, we have proudly designed a suit in Isabel Spearman's 'Capsule Collection'. 25% of sales are going directly to Smart Works.
In September 2023, we have launched a donation bag scheme to selected orders to make it easier for you to donate your preloved clothes to a great purpose.
SOJO is a London-based fashion-tech platform, founded by Josephine Philips, re-inventing the clothing repair and tailoring industry. Launching in 2021 as the UK’s first clothing repairs and alterations app, SOJO delivers emissions-free door-to-door repair and alterations services to customers via their London based tailoring studio, while providing an integrated and scalable solution to e-commerce fashion brands to help reduce returns and increase circularity within their businesses.
We have partnered with SOJO to offer you seamless, high-quality tailoring on our items, so you can find your perfect fit. We also offer free repairs on all ALIGNE purchases, old and new.
In collaboration with Isabel Spearman and the Daily Dress Edit, we have designed a limited edition dress, made entirely from surplus fabric.
A re-imagination of our classic Harlin shape, this version is crafted from 100% dead stock cotton chambray. By shining a spotlight on dead stock fabric and collaborating with several brands to create beautiful dresses, The Dead Stock Project is a way to have a conversation about circularity as well as making the term “dead stock” more desirable.
